Our passion for log houses

Since 1998 we, Elke Lehmann and Stefan Sack, have been living in our own log house. Our three children grew up here, and this special home has accompanied us as a family for many years. To this day we are enthusiastic about the unique living experience in a house made of whole tree trunks.

With the Kreischberg Lodge we would like to share this enthusiasm with our guests. The massive tree trunks, the pleasant indoor climate, the scent of the wood and the special atmosphere make living in a log house something very special for us.

We greatly enjoy continuing to develop the lodge and thinking about what can make a stay even more beautiful. What matters most to us are the things we ourselves value when on holiday.

As we enjoy cooking ourselves, we appreciate a well-equipped kitchen. That is why you will find everything you need for cooking and enjoying meals together at the Kreischberg Lodge. And because a relaxing holiday also includes good sleep, we take just as much care to ensure that you feel comfortable in our beds and can start the day well rested.

It is often the little things that make a stay special. That is why there is always something to improve or newly discover at the Kreischberg Lodge. And of course we still have a few ideas for the future.

We ourselves always enjoy spending time at the Kreischberg Lodge. We would like to share this special feeling of arriving there, feeling at ease and leaving everyday life a little behind with our guests.
